WHOA! What to Wear to SXSW
It’s about that time of year again when a slew of creative professionals migrate to Austin, TX for South by Southwest (SXSW). And I’m guessing one of those lucky folks is YOU! Last year (2018) was my first time attending the weeklong conference festival. If you’re wondering what to pack and need outfit inspirations for this year, keep reading to see my past outfits.
My mindset when packing was that I needed outfits that were trendy, somewhat business casual, and comfortable. The weather was weird last year, it was low 60s most of the week and then up to mid 70s. I packed outfits that I could layer a jacket over. Shoes I had in rotation were: Adidas Yeezy Boosts, tan chunky heeled booties, black flat knee boots for dressier occasions. Fair warning: You will be non-stop…attending the conference/panels during the day, then straight to multiple events through the night. Comfort is key!!!
