My favorite place to stay in Brooklyn

The Williamsburg Hotel

When I went to Brooklyn I wanted to stay in a hotel at the center of it all. Located in prime North Brooklyn, with Manhattan just over the bridge, The Williamsburg Hotel made complete sense. This boutique hotel is absolutely adorable. It’s pet-friendly, so you might run into some furry angels during your stay.

The guest rooms are richly tiled and textured with authentic reclaimed materials, while the lobby bar and lounge area has a very cozy and classy feel. Guest rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows, which let in tons of natural light and offer sweeping views of Manhattan! Wood plank floors give a slightly rustic feeling to the snug Queen rooms, but this is offset by pops of turquoise.

Cool things to note:

  • The staff is super nice and attentive.

  • There’s high tea on the weekends.

  • The pink bathrobes are very tempting to steal.

  • They include an in-room sound machine, which offers various soothing noises (our favorite was "rain") that help restless sleepers get some shut-eye. Along with a sleeping mask and earplugs. They have a few bars closeby, so these came in clutch on the weekends.

  • You can borrow bikes or take their adorable pink Tuk-Tuk on a ride around town.

  • And the rooftop pool… ‘nuff said!

I can’t wait to go back to Brooklyn for another adventure and stay here again.
