2 easy ways to make money!
I’ve been making some easy cash these past 2 years and they don’t include blogging! I’m decided to spill the beans and share with you all!
1) Make money while shopping
Yes, you read that correctly. There’s a website and app called Rakuten that gives you cash back for shopping at your favorite stores!
Rakuten is a company that gives you cash back for shopping through their affiliated stores. They have relationships with thousands of stores and offers discounts or cash back when you shop at these stores through Rakuten.com.
How does Rakuten work? It might sound too good to be true. But it isn’t. Ebates is legit (not a scam), and you should be using it every time you shop.
The process is simple. Earning Cash Back is as easy as 1-2-3:
Shop: First, start a Rakuten Shopping Trip. To do this, simply be sure to click on any Rakuten link to the store you’ll shop with before you make a purchase.
Validate: When you click a link, you’ll see a pop-up confirmation letting you know you’re ready to shop and earn Cash Back at that store.
Purchase: Complete your purchase as you normally would. This will also complete your Shopping Trip.
That’s all you have to do. Once you’ve made a purchase, a percentage of the purchase shows up in your Rakuten account.
For example: Rakuten offers 10% cash back for shopping at Amazon and you buy something for $500, you’ll get $50 in cash back. Easy Peasy!
You’re probably asking yourself, “How can Rakuten give you money for free?” The business model they run off of is Affiliate marketing, which when companies (i.e. online stores) pay people a commission for referring sales.
Rakuten is an affiliate to 2,000+ stores. When someone clicks on an Rakuten link to a retail store, Rakuten get a commission. Rakuten gives you half of their commission in the form of cash back. The store gets more sales. Rakuten makes a commission. Everyone wins! You make free money just for shopping.
Here’s an example of my cash back from this month. Yep! I even got $1 for everytime I use Lyft. I’ve made $500+ since I’ve used it. My sister has made over $1000 because she shops way more than I do. Imagine how much you can make!

2) Sell your unwanted clothes/things on Poshmark
You can make some extra cash by selling unwanted items on Poshmark! Poshmark is an app where you can shop other people’s closets and sell your own items. You probably need to make room for the new items you just purchased through Ebates :)
Recently I’ve made it a goal to sell items in my closet before I’m allowed to buy more stuff. I’ve found the process pretty simple.
Poshmark offers a safe selling and buying environment for everyone. They offer flat fee shipping which is helpful when you make a sale. All you have to do is pack your items, print the label they send you, and drop it off at the post office.
