Inside look: Nike Air Society - Week 4
Train & Mindfulness
Week 4 of Nike Air Society was a fun but challenging one! Nike Master Trainers, Betina Goza and Em Hutchins coached us through a team sweat session on the rooftop of the Loews Hotel. The shoes we trained in were the Nike Women's Free TR Flyknit 3, it’s built to meet high performance training demands, but cute enough to rock every single day.
After the physical workout, we hopped on a trolley to Chill Chicago where we exercised our minds with a meditation practice.
Studies have shown that mindfulness meditation can positively impact mental and physical health. It can reduce stress, improve sleep, increase focus, and improve relationships.
Honestly, the meditation exercise was harder for me than the physical workout! I learned that it takes practice and I really do need to get out of my head. I’m sure most of you can relate.
